A Family Tradition Built on Flavor

Imo's Pizza was born in 1964 when Tom and Margie Imo opened their first pizzeria in St. Louis, Missouri. Armed with a secret recipe for ultra-thin cracker-crust pizza and Provel cheese, they set out to create something truly unique.

What started as a neighborhood gem quickly became a St. Louis institution. Our signature square-cut, thin-crust pizza layered with Provel cheese and premium toppings became the gold standard for pizza lovers across the region. Decades of dedication, hundreds of thousands of pies, and countless loyal families later — we're still making it the same way.

Today, Imo's Pizza operates across the greater St. Louis area, carrying forward the same values of quality, community, and passion that Tom and Margie instilled from day one. Every pizza we make is a tribute to that original vision.

The First Slice

Tom and Margie Imo open the very first Imo's Pizza in St. Louis, Missouri, introducing the city to their unique thin-crust, square-cut pies topped with Provel cheese.

By the early 1970s, Imo's had expanded to multiple St. Louis neighborhoods. Word of mouth drove rapid growth as families and pizza lovers discovered our signature style.

Franchise Program Launched
